Delivering Innovation: A Custom 3D Forklift Truck Configurator for Flexi Forklift Trucks
We recently had the exciting opportunity to work with Flexi Forklift Trucks, a leading name in articulated forklift solutions, to create a truly innovative digital tool — a custom-built Forklift Truck Configurator. This project was more than just a visual upgrade; it was a complete reimagining of how customers interact with industrial equipment online.
Flexi approached us with a clear goal: they needed a dynamic and user-friendly system that would empower their customers to explore and configure their forklift trucks in a meaningful, interactive way. The core requirement was a Visual environment where users could seamlessly switch between a 360° side profile view and an aerial fork action view, offering a comprehensive perspective of the truck’s functionality and design.
But this configurator wasn’t just about impressive visuals. It also had to deliver critical technical specifications at a glance and offer the option to download product brochures — all while keeping the interface clean, focused, and easy to navigate. The challenge was to balance rich functionality with a minimalistic and elegant design, staying true to Flexi’s brand values of innovation, precision, and efficiency.
Our team worked meticulously through each phase of the project — from wireframing and user experience planning to interface design. We crafted a highly intuitive experience that brings clarity to complexity. Users can now explore truck options with confidence, gaining insight into features, dimensions, and operational capabilities in a format that is engaging and informative.
