One sector we’re particularly proud to support is the charity sector.
It was a real pleasure working with the team at Empowerment Charity based in Blackpool on their new website. The brief wasn’t simply to give the site a fresh new look; it was also about improving usability and functionality to make it much easier for visitors to find the help and support they need.
We’re really pleased with the finished result and proud to have played a part in helping Empowerment strengthen their online presence.
Empowerment Charity Lancashire was originally established back in 1995. A group of passionate individuals came together in Blackpool to form S.I.G.H. – Support in Getting Heard. Their mission was simple but powerful: to provide voluntary advocacy for people in their local community who weren’t being heard, whose rights weren’t being respected and who were facing daily injustice and unkindness.
Today, they might be a bit more structured and formal, but at their core, they are no different from those first volunteers in 1995 who came together to make a difference.
Empowerment is an organisation that believes everyone — without exception — should be seen, heard and supported. They strive to create an environment where people can thrive and flourish, delivering support through a range of services and projects, but always keeping it human.
